War Child:Coming Together For Effective Change

War Child joined forces with organisations across the world in 2017 - including NGOs, academic institutions and local communities - to meet the urgent needs of 374,379 children and adults living with the effects of armed conflict.

These networks allowed us to provide increasingly relevant and effective interventions - backed by scientific evidence - in fourteen countries over the course of the year. These efforts ensured that conflict-affected children worldwide could begin to build a better future – both for themselves and their communities.
